CIRCA TABAC ANNOUNCES IT IS NOW SOHO CIGAR BAR
One of the oldest cigar bars and lounges in New York City renames itself SoHo Cigar Bar and launches its own brand of cigars; SoHo Cigars

New York, NY (November 4, 2014) – Circa Tabac, one of New York’s oldest cigar bars and lounges, is now SoHo Cigar Bar. This new name comes at the same time as the launch of their own line of hand-crafted cigars; SoHo Cigars.

The recently renovated space is reminiscent of a 1920s speakeasy with plush leather furnishings and an art deco inspired interior; all creating a warm and welcoming environment. The new décor includes modern touches as well; a new ventilation system and new flat screen TVs, which are discreetly hidden behind timeless photography, for Saturday and Sunday football viewing, screenings and premiers.

“I wanted to create a space that felt like you were stepping back in time and having a true New York City experience. I want people to feel welcome and comfortable while enjoying the finest cigars, cocktails and food,” said Lee Ringelheim, Owner of SoHo Cigar Bar.

SoHo Cigars are hand crafted and rolled cigars that have been in development for over a year. “I wanted to launch a cigar line that represents this city, the history of the bar and its location. It’s a craft I’m passionate about and I want to share that with my loyal customers and introduce it to new ones,” said Lee. “My goal is to make cigars and whiskies more approachable for everyone. I want to eliminate the pretention and intimidation many associate with them. “

The launch will be celebrated with an elegant, private event on November 10, 2014 at 6:30pm. Guests can expect free cocktails, Hors d’oeuvres from the new artisanal menu and fresh, hand rolled cigars.

SoHo Cigar Bar will now have extended hours on Saturday and Sunday, opening at noon. The menu also includes an expanded rye and whiskey selection. Space is now available for both semi-private and private parties.
