HISPANIOLA CIGARS RELEASE THE VITOLA NO 2
Englewood New Jersey, June 1, 2014– Hispaniola Cigars announces the release of their Vitola no2 for their main line of cigars.
Mr. Melo described the new line by saying, “These cigars deliver on the promise of intrinsically connecting the sensation produced by timing the appropriate needed flavors and strength of the cigar during the smoking experience. In that regard, we believe we have found a true winner, and we expect it will be rated accordingly”
Continuing the mission of introducing the world to a piece of the island of Hispaniola’s history, by delivering consumers a taste of our land, culture and folklore through the unique experience of enjoying the rich flavors and notes of our cigars, our company seems to achieve just that with the introduction of this line.
After a series of complex trials, Hugo F. Melo, a fourth generation master blender and President of Hispaniola Cigars, decided the time was right to release the next generation of its main line.
The New vitola includes Dominican puro blends, as well as Havano Oscuro, Havano Rosado and Cuban Corojo wrappers. The blends feature four-year aged tobaccos to deliver maximum complexity and flavor.
About the blends:
Tres Carabelas No. 2: Robusto (5.25″ x 52 mm), Havano Oscuro wrapper with notes of charred espresso, chocolate, caramel and a woody finish. A strong, full bodied cigar.
El Trabuco 1844 No. 2: Belicoso (5″ x 52mm), Havano Rosado Vuelta Arriba wrapper, with notes of light coffee, cream, vanilla, floral and cedar finish. A medium-full bodied cigar.
Cristobal Colon 1492 No. 2: Double Robusto (5.5″ x 52mm), Corojo 96 wrapper, with earthy notes, cinnamon flavor and black pepper finish. A bold full bodied cigar.
Los Conquistadores No. 2: Double Robusto (5.5″ x 56mm), Corojo 99 wrapper, with deep cocoa and spices like nutmeg and pepper flavors and a charred espresso finish. A full bodied cigar.
The new vitola blends deliver a broad spectrum of flavor experiences, from medium bodied floral and roasted coffee notes to full bodied profiles with light pepper, dark cocoa, cinnamon, ande ven brown sugar as an underlying note.
Mr. Melo described the new line saying, “These cigars deliver on the promise of intrinsically connecting the sensation produced by timing the appropriate needed flavors and strength of the cigar during the smoking experience. In that regard, we believe we have found a true winner, and we expect it will be rated accordingly”.
The release of the Hispaniola Cigars Vitola No. 2 line follows on the heels of the immensely popular offerings from Hispaniola Cigars, which Mr. Melo launched in 2002. “We created Hispaniola cigars specifically to honor our friends in the brick and mortar market and to serve as our flagship product,” Mr. Melo said. “We hope this latest addition will be accepted with similar enthusiasm by our fan base and new cigar enthusiasts alike.”
The new vitola will be available through selected fine tobacconists starting June 1st, 2014, and it will be featured at the upcoming IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. MSRP for the new Hispaniola Cigars line will range between $9.00 and $11.00.
