NEW YORK, NY (September 23, 2014) – Nat Sherman, Tobacconist to the World since 1930, has promoted Lionel Legry to Chief Information Officer. The announcement was made jointly by Larry Sherman and Bill Sherman, Executive Vice Presidents of Nat Sherman International. Lionel will continue to oversee all IT related matters, and serve as an integral member of Nat Sherman’s Executive Team.

A deeply valued member of the Nat Sherman family for 15 years, Lionel first came to the company as a summer intern in 1997. Joining full time in 1999, he quickly rose through the ranks, serving as Assistant to the Director of IT for just two years, before becoming Director of M.I.S in 2001.

Over the course of his tenure with Nat Sherman, Legry has continually pushed the company to embrace and navigate new technology, not only streamlining day-to-day operations, but optimizing the business and efficiency in evaluating new
opportunities.
