Eddie Ortega is a cigar enthusiast and manufacturer owner of Ortega Premium Cigars. Eddie 1
After establishing strong footing in the cigar industry with EO cigars, Eddie Ortega more than knows his way around the block. Once representing the ‘O’ half of EO, he formed his own brand, Ortega Premium Cigars.
Ortega Premium Cigars has an uncompromising commitment to the quality and integrity of all their premium cigars; it is the guiding principle to all our valued customers. They use only the finest raw materials grown in south and Central America, particularly Nicaragua, and all cigars are masterfully blended and manufactured by experienced rollers in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Each and every cigar has been slowly cured and aged to perfection, so you can expect some “characteristic personality” in each cigar you smoke, this is all part of the beauty and charm of all Ortega Premium had made cigars.
Ortega Serie D: The Ortega Serie ‘D’ is without a doubt a cigar of a different color. The natural is undoubtedly one of the few full-bodied cigars that is bold, rich, and creamy all rolled into one. Crafted in the My Father factory, the Serie ‘D’ Natural all starts by densely combing long-fillers from Jalapa and Esteli. Then, a golden-brown Ecuador Habano leaf with a smooth, gorgeous texture is carefully draped overtop. Beautifully box-pressed and firm in the hand, the Serie ‘D’ Natural delivers from the get-go. Expect hints of cedar, roasted nuts, and cocoa, all to accompany the distinct and creamy profile.
Ortega DThe Ortega Serie ‘D’ Maduro is enchanting from head to toe. Draped in an uber-dark San Andres maduro wrapper, and stuffed with long-fillers from Esteli and Jalapa, expect a medium to full-bodied handmade unleashing layers of bold flavor. Rich notes of dark cocoa, coffee bean, oak, and a hint of dried fruit engulf the senses. Carefully crafted in the My Father factory in Nicaragua, this box-pressed beauty brings to the table everything you’ve come to know and love from the hands of Don Pepin.
Wild Bunch: Twelve Months . . . twelve unique boutique cigars. Ortega Wild Bunch Cigars are a premium cigar from Eddie Ortega using different wrappers, binders and fillers from various and different tobaccos to make some of these innovative small batch cigars in 2013. Limited to a production runs of five hundred boxes, the Ortega Wild Bunch Cigars won’t last long.
Heavy Duty: The Ortega Heavyduty cigars are hand crafted in Santiago, Dominican Republic. They have been blended using only the finest long filler tobaccos grown in South and Central America. They have been blended to perfection using only the finest robust tobaccos in order to achieve a perfect full bodied smoke. The Heavyduty cigars are only available in large ring gauges, 60 and 70 ring gauges.
We are also honored to host Apocalypse Ale Works. Driven by the most humble of urges, the desire to escape the heavy authority and expectations of our modern world, beer lovers Doug John and his wife Lee started Apocalypse Ale Works over a decade ago. Back then it was just a tiny flame of an idea built by a passion for delicious beer and a rebellion to the accepted norm that beer was a watered down, tasteless drink that couldn’t also be enjoyed whiledoug-john indulging.
It started as a home brewing setup and a circle of friends, and grew to a home brew supply shop, picking up medals along the way until the passion for beer grew to great to be contained in an idea. Jumping on an opportunity the Johns made the choice to leave the world they once knew behind them, and to put all of their energy into a new idea of their own creation, Apocalypse Ale Works.
