Elegant Ladies and Dapper Gentlemen filled New York City’s exclusive cigar club, Club Macanudo, on Monday, April 30, 2012. Mr. Club Macanudo himself, Mauricio Cordoba, orchestrated a Sweet 16 celebration like no other. His debonair waitresses floated around the Club in exquisite gowns offering guests their choice of various brandies, cognacs and wines. In addition to the beautiful spread of different varieties of cheese and fruit, the waiters perambulated the room with endless trays of hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. Mauricio is an expert when it comes to throwing an event. He greeted each and every guest as they arrived an posed for pictures with all. The humidor holders received a sampling of premium cigars and a raffle ticket as they entered. There was a slide show of pictures from past events displayed on the big screen for all to admire and enjoy. Just in case all of this wasn’t enough, Mr. Cordoba arranged for the feature cigar of the evening to be the new Partagas 1845…wow, what a cigar!
